Reviewer Guidelines

Soshum: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities

Soshum relies on the expertise and integrity of reviewers to ensure the quality, credibility, and academic contribution of published articles. Reviewers play a critical role in evaluating manuscripts and providing constructive feedback to authors.

Reviewers are expected to conduct the review process objectively, fairly, and professionally. All evaluations must be based on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's scope, without any personal bias.

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or use the content for personal advantage. Any potential conflict of interest should be declared, and reviewers should decline the review if such conflicts exist.

Reviewers are encouraged to provide clear, detailed, and constructive comments that help authors improve the quality of their work. Feedback should focus on clarity of arguments, validity of data, soundness of methodology, and contribution to knowledge.

Recommendations provided by reviewers may include acceptance, revision, or rejection. All decisions should be supported by logical reasoning and evidence-based evaluation to maintain transparency and fairness in the editorial process.

Reviewers are also expected to complete their evaluations within the specified timeframe to ensure an efficient publication process. Timely and responsible reviewing contributes significantly to the journal's quality assurance and academic reputation.
