Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Soshum: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities

Soshum implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to maintain objectivity and impartial evaluation.

All submitted manuscripts are assessed based on their relevance to the journal's scope, methodological soundness, analytical depth, and contribution to social sciences and humanities research and practice.

Review Process

1. Initial Screening

The editorial team conducts a preliminary evaluation to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's focus and scope, adheres to submission guidelines, and meets basic academic standards.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process.

3. Review Evaluation

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity of presentation, significance of findings, and relevance to the field.

4. Decision Making

Based on reviewers' comments, the editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

5. Revision Process

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers' feedback and resubmit within the specified timeframe.

6. Final Decision

The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the revised manuscript and reviewers' recommendations.

All review processes are conducted ethically and confidentially in accordance with academic publishing standards.
