Plagiarism Policy

Soshum: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities

Soshum maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and unethical use of intellectual property. All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or submitted to other journals.

Each manuscript undergoes a plagiarism screening process using appropriate detection tools to ensure academic integrity, originality, and proper citation practices. Manuscripts found to contain significant similarity or improper attribution will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, copying text, ideas, data, or results without proper acknowledgment, as well as self-plagiarism, where authors reuse substantial parts of their previously published work without clear citation.

Soshum enforces a maximum similarity threshold in accordance with academic standards. Authors are expected to ensure that their manuscripts remain within acceptable limits and demonstrate clear originality and scholarly contribution.

Any detected cases of plagiarism, whether before or after publication, will be handled seriously. The journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including manuscript rejection, revision requests, or article retraction in accordance with publication ethics.

Through this policy, Soshum reinforces its commitment to ethical publishing, academic honesty, and the protection of intellectual contributions.
